How do I Sign in with a Passwordless Credential? (Enable Phone Sign-in)

Tired of typing your password every time you sign in? IT suggests setting up password-less sign-in by activating phone sign-in with the Microsoft Authenticator app. This enhances the overall security and adds convenience to the sign-in procedure.

To enable phone sign-in, follow these steps:

1. Open the Microsoft Authenticator app.
2. Select your "BDS Connected Solutions" account
3. Choose "Enable phone sign-in"
4. Follow the instructions in the app to finish registering the account for passwordless phone sign-in.

The first time you start the phone sign-in process, the following steps will occur.

1. Enters your username at the sign-in page.
2. Select Next.
3. If necessary, choose Other ways to sign in.
4. Select Approve a request on my Authenticator app.

Similar to multi-factor authentication, you will be presented with a number. The app prompts you to authenticate by typing the appropriate number, instead of entering a password. Please confirm the location and app trying to sign in before selecting Yes. 

After you have utilized passwordless phone sign-in, the app continues to guide you through this method. However, you will see the option to choose another method.
